A company is looking for a Billing Coordinator who will engage with patients to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with patients to address inquiries related to invoices, payments, insurance coverage, and claims processing
- Identify and rectify billing errors, including discrepancies with patient information and insurance changes
- Review invoices for accuracy and provide detailed receipts to patients upon request
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or medical insurance
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10 codes, and EMR systems
- Highly organized with strong judgment and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Google or Microsoft systems and ability to adapt to custom-built IT systems
