Billing Resolution Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Posting Resolution Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to third-party insurance carriers and secure necessary medical documentation
• Follow up on unpaid claims and manage denial processes, including filing appeals when necessary
• Maintain quality customer service and meet production and quality assurance standards

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent billing experience in Critical Access or Acute Care facilities, or 3 years in physician billing
• Experience with Medicare billing is desired
• Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to communicate with insurance payers
• Experience in filing claim appeals to ensure maximum reimbursement
