Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections - Collector 1 to manage the timely collection of delinquent loans remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and works assigned delinquent accounts, contacting members via phone and mail to advise on debt repayment strategies
• Ensures accurate and complete documentation of all collection activities
• Conducts skip tracing and recommends actions such as repossession, extensions, or deferments

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on collection experience with real estate, secured and unsecured loans
• Strong background in the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act
• Working knowledge of general collection practices
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
