Key Responsibilities
- Admit new patients and complete all necessary admissions paperwork
- Verify insurance coverage and explain benefits to patients and case managers
- Answer incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries and concerns
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Preferred experience in a medical office or customer service
- Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare and knowledge of insurances is a plus
