Intake Patient Care Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Patient Care Representative (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Admit new patients and complete all necessary admissions paperwork
• Verify insurance coverage and explain benefits to patients and case managers
• Answer incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries and concerns

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• Preferred experience in a medical office or customer service
• Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
• Experience in healthcare and knowledge of insurances is a plus
