Loss Mitigation Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls regarding loss mitigation options
• Document consumer interactions and provide information on loss mitigation approvals, declines, and foreclosure processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and maintain internal control standards while promoting a supportive environment

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Mortgage collections experience is preferred
