Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls regarding loss mitigation options
- Document consumer interactions and provide information on loss mitigation approvals, declines, and foreclosure processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and maintain internal control standards while promoting a supportive environment
Required Qualifications
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mortgage collections experience is preferred
