Job Summary
A company is looking for a Biomedical Informatics Specialist III.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, integrate, and manage biomedical information systems and terminology products
- Lead functional systems work and oversee biomedical content development while ensuring adherence to terminology standards
- Serve as a senior project lead and liaison with stakeholders on complex biomedical informatics initiatives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of study and specialization
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in biomedical or scientific terminology systems design, development, and management
- PhD plus 10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree plus 20 years of relevant experience required
- MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD with additional experience in biomedical information systems preferred for senior specialists
- Specialization in pathology with an MD or DO and a minimum of five (5) years of experience is required for Sr. Biomedical Informatics Specialists in that area
