Job Summary
A company is looking for a Document Indexer.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately index incoming medical documents and referrals into the appropriate systems
- Meet and maintain productivity standards of 11-12 orders/hour or 92-95 orders/day
- Ensure high attention to detail when processing diagnosis codes and other critical information
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in document indexing, health information management, or medical records
- Prior experience working remotely in a self-directed environment
- Experience with medical terminology and electronic health record systems is a plus
- Proven ability to meet performance metrics in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable working independently while remaining accountable to a central leader
