Job Summary
A company is looking for a Project Manager to oversee U.S. government programs, particularly within the Department of Defense or federal civilian agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage federal programs/projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including government stakeholders, contractors, and technical staff
- Develop project documentation in compliance with agency standards and ensure adherence to security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field (Master's or PMP preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing federal government projects, preferably within DoD, DHS, VA, or similar agencies
- Active security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and compliance standards
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)
