A company is looking for a Legislative Assistant to support its policy work at both federal and state levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Track federal legislative initiatives and assist in analyzing policy proposals
- Draft policy materials and represent the organization in advocacy meetings
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and maintain records for the Public Affairs team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit or government organization
- Some event and project management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar database experience
