Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legislative Assistant to support its policy work at both federal and state levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track federal legislative initiatives and assist in analyzing policy proposals
  • Draft policy materials and represent the organization in advocacy meetings
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and maintain records for the Public Affairs team
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit or government organization
  • Some event and project management experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar database experience
