Job Summary
A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Patient Engagement Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect medical histories, monitor vital signs, and prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling billing tasks
- Provide telephonic assistance for patient needs, ensuring compassionate communication and support
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred; high school or GED graduation is required
- Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA is required
- BLS certification is required
- Experience requirements vary by level: Level I - no experience; Level II - at least 1 year; Level III - at least 3 years of clinical experience
- Must meet all requirements set forth in the Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA/RMA) Ladder Program document for Levels II and III
