Oncology Senior Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Programmer - Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Manipulate large databases and generate reports for healthcare data analysis
• Create complex analysis data sets from various data sources, identifying outliers and errors
• Build patient cohorts and evaluate healthcare events using observational research methods

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related field with high statistical content
• Minimum four years of SAS statistical programming experience
• Database programming experience using SQL
• Experience with advanced statistical methods, including survival and regression
• Experience with real world healthcare data, such as MarketScan, Optum, EMR, or Medicare databases
