Key Responsibilities
- Completes claims and documents billing activity according to regulations and guidelines
- Analyzes denials and credit balances to determine root causes and resolves accounts
- Processes electronic remittances and collaborates with payers to ensure compliance and payment
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office required
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, specifically Epic billing, preferred
