Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to support security and compliance efforts in a fast-moving healthcare IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage AWS security tooling and ensure workstation security using MDM
• Manage the vulnerability program and perform access control reviews and risk assessments
• Support incident and disaster recovery testing, security training, and manage IT vendor relationships

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the security field or related area
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or HITRUST
• Experience with compliance efforts, including writing policies and procedures
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP and SANS top vulnerabilities
• Ability to script in one or more languages for automation purposes
