Senior Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Buyer who will manage the acquisition of goods and services critical to mission-driven technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and acquisition planning for materials, software, and services
• Serve as a business advisor to internal customers, providing alternative solutions to procurement requests
• Develop sourcing lists and engage in complex negotiations with vendors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience and professional training
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting Federal prime contracts
• Proven experience in managing strategic purchasing agreements and complex negotiations
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clauses and contractual requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level government security clearance
