Senior Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Firewall Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-class routing, switching, and firewall solutions in datacenter and cloud environments
• Work with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF to ensure efficient and secure network operations
• Implement and manage Next Generation firewalls (Palo Alto) and associated security mechanisms

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise-class routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall solutions
• Strong experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Extensive hands-on experience with Enterprise Routing and Switching Technologies for large data center and campus networks
• Experience or working knowledge of Next Generation firewalls (Palo Alto) and associated security mechanisms
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP
