Senior Manager, Raw Materials Sourcing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Manager, Raw Materials Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present sourcing strategies to reduce raw material category costs and supply risks
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and share relevant market intelligence
• Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with key vendors while monitoring category spend

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree required; Degree in chemical engineering or related field preferred; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in M&A strategy development
• 5 years of procurement or commercial experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries
• Experience with matrixed global project responsibility and SAP preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred (yellow, green, or black belt)
