Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up activities on accounts, including contacting payors and patients to resolve outstanding balances
- Research and document account activities using patient accounting applications and internet resources
- Assist in training new or existing staff and support team members with backlogged accounts
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance related collections
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
- Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
