Key Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up activities on patient accounts to resolve outstanding balances
- Research accounts using various applications and resources to ensure timely resolution
- Assist in training new staff and support team members with backlogged accounts
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance collections
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance billing and collections processes
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
