Senior Sourcing Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Sourcing Associate (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Execute medium to complex sourcing projects, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Assist in developing category sourcing strategies and perform market, benchmark, and spend analysis
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of strategic sourcing experience
• Preferred Certification: Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M)
• Knowledge of sourcing systems and e-sourcing technology
• Understanding of contract law and government policies related to the food and drug industry
