Senior Technical Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Accountant responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze customer contracts for compliance with ASC 606
• Perform assessments of revenue recognition for complex transactions
• Prepare technical accounting memos and collaborate with teams on revenue-related issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical accounting or public accounting, preferably Big 4
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to transactional accounting
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is preferred
