Job Summary
A company is looking for a VP of Employment and Litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counseling on multi-jurisdictional employment laws to HR and business stakeholders
- Manage employment litigation and oversee outside counsel, including responding to administrative agency charges and audits
- Develop and deliver training on employment law matters and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited school with strong academic credentials
- Minimum 10 years of experience practicing employment law, in-house and/or with a national or regional law firm
- Experience as a litigator at a national or regional law firm preferred
- Active license to practice law in at least one state
- Significant experience in managing commercial litigation and providing practical legal advice
