Upstream Product Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Upstream Product Manager to shape the future of their AI- and HPC-powered platform for scientific computing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own early-stage product discovery and upstream planning for platform capabilities related to HPC and AI/ML workloads
• Translate emerging customer needs into actionable platform requirements and identify new market opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handoff from vision to execution and drive product initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in software/platform architecture, with 5+ years focused on HPC or large-scale compute environments
• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years focused on platform or infrastructure products
• Proven success in upstream or strategic product roles, ideally in HPC, AI/ML, or scientific computing platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers, and orchestration tools
• 4-year college degree in a technical or quantitative science or equivalent work experience
