Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on accounts, including contacting payors and patients to resolve outstanding balances
• Research and document account statuses, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with productivity goals
• Assist in training new staff and support team members with backlogged accounts and special projects

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various systems
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute or more
• Knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid collections
