Accessibility Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accessibility Compliance SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility compliance assessments following Section 508 and W3C WCAG guidelines
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify accessibility issues in software and applications
• Provide solutions and recommendations for addressing accessibility barriers identified during assessments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience conducting accessibility assessments per Section 508 and W3C WCAG guidelines
• Skilled in manual and automated testing techniques with a thorough understanding of accessibility barriers
• Possession of relevant certifications such as DHS Trusted Tester or IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
• Strong ability to develop comprehensive security and compliance reports
