Accountant I

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant I to support financial operations in a remote healthcare IT staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and process journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and track billable hours and project-related expenses
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition teams for accurate financial reporting and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience)
• 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the staffing industry or healthcare IT
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; familiarity with ERP or payroll systems
• Understanding of basic GAAP principles and account reconciliation processes
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle confidential financial information discreetly
