Accounting Associate - Withholding Tax

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Associate - Withholding Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ad-hoc journal entries and provide accounting support for withholding compliance
• Prepare monthly state withholding reconciliations and journal entries for financial reporting
• Assist with special projects and maintain process documentation for department functions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ years of work-related experience required
• Familiarity with key tax forms related to withholding tax compliance preferred
• Foundational understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
