Accounting Clerk – Part-time

About the position

Responsibilities
• Process weekly vendor invoices
• Prepare 1099s for vendors
• Assist with the month end close
• Process weekly employee expense reports
• Complete and submit subcontractor payment confirmations
• Perform other general administrative tasks/projects as assigned by the Controller

Requirements
• Two years of payables experience or currently pursuing an accounting degree preferred
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to self-motivate
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Above average communication skills, both oral and written
• Attention to detail with respect to quality standards
• Payroll processing/Payroll tax filings/registrations experience helpful
• Experience with Deltek software desirable
• Ability to work overtime during peak busy periods required
