Accounting Research Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Research Manager responsible for technical accounting research and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of guidance and advisory services related to GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting principles
• Prepare and conclude on accounting position papers to support policy development and transaction conclusions
• Monitor and review new accounting standards and assess their impact on operational and reporting processes

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in technical accounting research and implementation of accounting pronouncements
• Ability to synthesize complex accounting issues and make timely decisions
• Knowledge of accounting standards set by FASB, IASB, SEC, and NAIC
• Experience in developing and documenting accounting policies
• Strong understanding of operational and reporting processes related to accounting standards
