Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support and analyze activities related to various market segments across all lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group, and National Accounts Market Segments
• Conduct rate analysis and development, forecast/variance analysis, and claim trend analysis
• Enhance knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory while progressing towards the FSA designation

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of one or more examinations from the Society of Actuaries
• Related Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field
• 0-1 year of related work experience or equivalent education
• Familiarity with SAS and/or SQL is preferred
• Completion of college-level courses in micro and macroeconomics, introductory corporate finance, and applied statistical methods
