AAC (Advanced Automation Corporation) has a requirement for a Field Service Engineer to support in-country installation and testing activities for the upgraded TPS-43 radar system. This position will begin with on-site OJT at the OEM in Syracuse, NY then on-site in-country, which would last multiple months at a time. This position requires strong leadership abilities to represent the company and the OEM while working with a cross-functional in-country installation team.
The chosen candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide support for the assembly, test, and installation of upgraded TPS-43 radar systems in Pakistan.
- Support system integration and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the in-country installation and training.
- Provide technical support to production.
Minimum
- Experience troublr shooting hardware, software, and mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of radar signal processing techniques.
- Experience with antenna design and optimization.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility and interference.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in radar system design and development.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with simulation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
