Job Summary
A company is looking for an ALC Developer to support and modernize legacy mainframe systems within a federal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain IBM Assembler Language Code (ALC) programs on Z/OS mainframes
- Conduct trial runs, debug programs, and ensure efficient performance
- Modify existing assembler code to meet new technical or business requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- 4-8 years of experience working with ALC in a mainframe environment
- Proficient in IBM Job Control Language (JCL), TSO, ISPF, and common debugging tools
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet federal tax compliance requirements to qualify for MBI clearance
