Job Description
Signal Tru Brand is seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to join our growing team in New Orleans, LA. This role is essential in supporting our event planning team and ensuring the smooth execution of brand events, corporate functions, and client activations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about event logistics, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and coordination of events from concept to execution
Support the Events Manager with scheduling, logistics, and vendor communication
Prepare event materials, supplies, and signage as needed
Maintain detailed timelines, checklists, and inventory records
Attend events to provide on-site support and ensure operations run smoothly
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet project deadlines
Perform administrative tasks related to event planning and follow-ups
Qualifications
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
