Appraisal Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appraisal Coordinator to join their Collateral team.

Key Responsibilities

• Open valuation and inspection orders to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Act as a liaison between the origination team and Appraisal Management Company (AMC)
• Proactively identify and address orders that may cause delays or require action

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of appraisal ordering experience or working with an AMC
• Knowledge of property types, appraisal types, and mortgage documentation
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and Non-Conforming property eligibility
• Confidence in resolving loan-level escalations and managing competing priorities
• Initiative to suggest ideas for process and technology improvements
