AR Specialist I

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Specialist I - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on complex claims for payment by contacting insurance companies and utilizing payor websites
• Review and resolve rejected claims based on validity and take appropriate actions
• Calculate and post adjustments according to third-party reimbursement guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Previous Revenue Cycle knowledge in areas such as PFS, Customer Service, or 3rd party Reimbursement
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently and collaboratively
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: One or more years of experience in healthcare billing functions
