Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist - Utilization Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct second-level reviews for medication prior-authorizations and medical necessity reviews
• Collaborate with providers and internal staff to determine approval criteria for cases
• Implement pharmacy cost containment strategies and support pharmacy initiatives for satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college
• Current, unrestricted pharmacy license in the relevant state(s)
• Minimum of three years' pharmacy practice experience
• Preferred three years' experience in managed pharmacy care and drug utilization review
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is desirable
