Assistant Scientist Biologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Scientist (Biologist).

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the development of scalable and economical cell culture processes for veterinary vaccines and therapeutics
• Advocates for manufacturing needs on interdisciplinary teams, demonstrating knowledge of GMP guidelines
• Designs and performs experimental studies to optimize manufacturing processes for veterinary biological products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Veterinary Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Protein Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology
• Hands-on experience with microbial/bacterial cell cultures, which can be from an academic lab
• Recent BS graduates with relevant cell culture experience are encouraged to apply
