Assistive Technology Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistive Technology Engineer II to design and maintain systems software and hardware to improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, installs, tests, and maintains systems software and hardware
• Coordinates with multiple functional areas and vendors on IT solutions planning, upgrading, testing, and servicing
• Troubleshoots and resolves server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• 2 - 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 and WAI-ARIA
• Experience using assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking)
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Endpoint Engineering is preferred
