Associate Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Security Analyst - SOC.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using various security tools and platforms
• Assist in the investigation of security incidents and collaborate with IT and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities
• Participate in threat hunting activities and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for the SOC

Required Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology and cybersecurity
• Familiarity with security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Basic understanding of networking protocols and security concepts
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security +, CEH, or GIAC preferred
