Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction of backend systems and infrastructure for high-volume, high-availability solutions
• Own and implement service standards and major DevEx initiatives
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for backend deployments

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend engineering with distributed systems fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Rust programming
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi)
• Experience in code quality, testing, and observability practices
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
