Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Application development for distributed systems
• Profiling and optimizing performance
• Testing of backend applications and providing on-call technical support on a rotating schedule

Required Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar discipline
• 3+ years of experience with memory management and distributed systems
• Strong development skills in Go and familiarity with syscall interfaces
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub pull requests
• Familiarity with software development life cycles including defining requirements, software design, implementation, and testing
