Backend/API Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend/API Engineer to join their Trading Platform Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build performant and reliable API endpoints
• Maintain backward compatibility with existing clients
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience as a professional software engineer, with at least 2 years focused on backend/API services
• Experience building and deploying backend applications using Node.js or similar technologies
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, with knowledge of typed languages
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.)
• Proven ability to write and maintain automated test suites
