• Maintain documentation of billing activities and comply with departmental performance standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Typically requires 1 year of related experience in a medical/billing reimbursement environment
• Basic keyboarding proficiency and ability to operate relevant software systems
• Preferred knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices (CPT, ICD-10, HCPC)
• Ability to read and interpret documents related to billing and insurance
