Job Summary
A company is looking for a Billing Specialist for the Case Resolution Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve cases for assigned markets and mentor call center agents
- Compile and report emerging issues from denials and patient dissatisfaction
- Review claims for accuracy and assist with billing questions from staff
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3+ years of experience with physician office billing in a large multi-specialty practice
- Working knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, ICD-10, and third-party payer rules
- Experience in problem-solving and exercising initiative and judgment
- Ability to organize data and present findings using Microsoft Excel and/or PowerPoint
