Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes clinic professional charges to ensure proper coding and documentation for maximum reimbursement
• Codes Primary Care, Radiology, and Hospitalist professional charges and provides education to physicians on coding practices
• Maintains current knowledge of coding guidelines and meets production and quality standards set by leadership

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year or less of professional fee coding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPC, CPC-A, or CCS-P Certification
• Experience with GECB/IDX and Cerner is preferred
