Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Analyst - Entry Level.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of unemployment insurance (UI) tax rates and resolve discrepancies with state agencies
• Develop strategies to improve client tax positions and support planning through reports and projections
• Manage incoming tax documents, maintain organized records, and ensure compliance through agency communication

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a tax-related role involving state unemployment insurance (SUI)
• Exposure to multi-state tax environments or working with state agencies is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Analytical approach to working with complex datasets
• Experience organizing workloads and demonstrating reliability under time constraints
