A company is looking for a Title Examiner who will be responsible for searching public records and examining titles for residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform title examination and analyze records to determine ownership and legal restrictions
- Resolve issues related to missing or contradictory information in title documentation
- Prepare initial title commitment documentation and review reports for accuracy
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in searching and examining titles, specifically with refinance and resale transactions
- California experience is required
- Strong customer service focus
- Proficient typing skills (55 WPM)
