Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cameroon and Nigeria Researcher to assist in the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and record incidents of political violence from various reports into an Excel template
• Review and manage data to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability
• Participate in extensive training and perform detail-oriented tasks related to data management

Required Qualifications

• University degree in international relations, political science, conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related field
• Familiarity with Excel is essential
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in French is preferable
• Experience conducting desk-based research
• A comprehensive understanding of the conflict and actors in Cameroon and Nigeria is essential
