Certified Coder - Pediatrics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder (Remote) in Pediatrics Central Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify pertinent facts for coding diagnoses and procedures
• Code evaluations and management to appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Assist physicians with documentation and coding issues and prepare case reports for billing

Required Qualifications

• Must possess one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A)
• No specific work experience is required
• A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
• Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is preferred
