Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor Coding/Abstracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coding workflow and ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of coding
• Supervise and coordinate medical coders, manage staffing schedules, and implement denial mitigants
• Educate staff on current coding regulations and assist in developing policies and procedures related to coding

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred
• 2 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of five years of coding or charge capture experience, including two years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Certification as a Coding Specialist or Professional Coder required
