Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Chromium (Contractor, EU).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead projects to improve Chromium architecture and develop new features
• Participate in the Chromium engineering on-call rotation and support major upgrades and releases
• Enhance the engineering team's iteration speed through codebase improvements and security updates

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of production-level coding experience, with at least 5 years in C++ and Chromium development
• Flexibility to work across the entire tech stack, including learning Swift
• Experience in independently managing critical projects with minimal guidance
• Motivated by complex problems and comfortable in a startup environment
• Availability for 4+ hours of overlap with team members in the Eastern Time Zone
